A sun-soaked October wedding at the Stables at Wheeler Farms | Whitehouse, OH

Where do I begin with these two? Alexsys and Chris had the most perfect, sunny wedding day at the prettiest farmhouse venue. Their day had so many special little touches that were a little out of the ordinary and so them! Perhaps my favorite thing about their wedding was that they chose to include their dog, Sherlock, in the wedding party. Sherlock was the CUTEST doggie ring bearer, and, best of all, he wandered around their reception all night long! All of their guests loved stopping to pet Sherlock (who even interrupted his mom and dad’s first dance — so cute!)

The other thing that sticks out to me when thinking back to this wedding are the real and raw emotions that were present throughout the day. I have so many photos of Chris looking over at Alexsys with such emotion: that “I can’t believe I get to marry her” look of adoration. Those little stolen glances are my favorite thing to catch. Alexsys and Chris shared a beautiful first look and never stopped looking at each other for the rest of the day.

Something else I love about their wedding? That Alexsys chose to have her grandpa walk her down the aisle and shared a dance with him at the reception as well — some of my favorite photos from their day.

The entire wedding was laid back, relaxed, and FUN. We had so much time to capture dreamy portraits and the most beautiful sunshine. I was in heaven!
