When Covid shut the world down, Kaitlin and Jon had to change their wedding plans. They officially got married in September 2020 in front of only their closest family members and friends. Their ceremony was gorgeous and perfect and every way! But they still wanted a party… and that’s exactly what they did on October 2, 2021!
Their wedding was at Fox Hills Golf Course’s Summerhouse, a beautiful open-air venue. Every detail was stunning, featuring custom flower boxes built by Kaitlin’s dad and personalized bottles of wine for each guest (cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Wines!)
Right when their ceremony was supposed to start, it started to rain. It was just a light drizzle, so we decided to go ahead with their outdoor vow renewal ceremony as planned. I’m so glad we did, because the ceremony decor and arbor was absolutely stunning! I think these rainy portraits are especially romantic (but I’m SO glad we had all of their portraits finished before the rain hit because it kept raining for the rest of the evening!)
With their engagement session and two wedding celebrations, I got to know Kaitlin and Jon well over the past few years. It was so sweet to watch them finally have their big celebration, but I’ll miss having them in front of my camera!
