I started off Kelly and David’s engagement session by getting us lost in the woods… haha, whoops! Nichols Arboretum in Ann Arbor, Michigan is absolutely GORGEOUS in the spring. I knew where to park and where I wanted to take us, but I took a wrong turn and we ended up traipsing through trees for awhile before we found our way. It was okay because we got to chat along the way, and it was so fun to connect with these two! Kelly and David have such a good chemistry and they both have a great sense of humor. They kept me laughing the whole time, which made for such a fun session. Meeting new couples is one of the best parts of my job and it always makes me so excited for the wedding day!
Nichols Arboretum in May boasts lots of blooming trees and the first peonies in the garden were just starting to pop. After the Arb, we headed downtown to take a few photos at the law quad, which basically looks like it belongs in Hogwarts. Every time I have a session in Ann Arbor, I find new places to take photos that I absolutely love! It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite spots for sessions.
Our session took place almost exactly one year before these two tie the knot. I can’t wait for your wedding next May!
