Lauren and Ben are a couple I connected with instantly. From the moment they inquired, I knew that I loved them and I wanted to work with them. That’s no surprise, because it was obvious on their wedding day that everybody they know adores them, too. Lauren and Ben have been together since they were young, and their wedding ceremony and reception were absolutely packed full of loved ones who came to celebrate their marriage. There was an overwhelming amount of love for these two on display all day. Every toast about them echoed the same sentiment: Lauren and Ben are two of the very best people and they were absolutely made for one another.
The day was perfect from start to finish. Even though there was a small amount of rain, it happened only during their indoor church ceremony. The sun was already back out when it was time to take bride and groom portraits at one of my favorite locations: the beautiful Cranbrook House & Gardens. It stayed sunny for the rest of the day, and Lauren and Ben made the GRANDEST entrance to their reception: from a pontoon boat on the lake! Guests lined the reception patio to watch the couple arrive on the water, cheering and laughing.
I enjoyed every moment I spent with Lauren and Ben, and while it’s bittersweet that the wedding is over, I’m so glad they had the wedding day of their dreams. It was beautiful in every way.
