Elizabeth and Joe’s wedding was the culmination of so many thoughtful details that came together to create a big, beautiful celebration. Custom bar napkins with handwritten love notes the couple wrote to one another. Elizabeth’s getting ready robe crafted from her mom’s wedding dress, paired with her mom’s original engagement ring. Peace sign pins pins in memory of Joe’s father. Pizza and pierogis as a late night snack: a nod to her Italian roots and his Polish ones. Hundreds of their loved ones packed The War Memorial to celebrate these two, and as Elizabeth said in her thank you toast, the best advice she received was to stop, take a moment, and soak it all in. All of the details, both big and small. A room full of loved ones, all together at the same place at the same time. An epic party with the aroma of espresso martinis wafting through the air. All of it came together to create the perfect day for E&J. Their wedding was planned to perfection by Darin with DJD Events, who transformed The War Memorial into a space like I have never seen before.
