A Kensington Metropark engagement session filled with laughter | Milford, MI

This engagement session with Ariana and Alec was EXTRA special because Ariana used to be my STUDENT! She was one of my yearbook editors back in 2016, and we became close after working on the yearbook together so often after school. When she reached out to me about photographing her wedding, I was practically jumping up and down because I was so excited!

Their engagement session was such a blast and we had the best time together. We went to all of my favorite spots at Kensington Metropark: the Farm Center, the Nature Center, and Martindale Beach. The beach had the most beautiful overcast sunset, and I am in love with the pink tones in the sky and the water. And how cute is Ariana’s dress?

Ariana and Alec laughed the whole time — I think at least 50% of their final gallery are laughing photos! There’s something about easy laughter that tells you you’ve found the one. It also makes for the sweetest and most natural photos. Their wedding next October can’t come soon enough… I already know it’s going to be a day full of SO much joy!
