A Classy City Engagement Session | Detroit, MI

After a lot of rescheduling due to Covid-19, I finally got to meet Katy and Nick for their engagement session on June 17th… just two days before this beautiful couple was supposed to say “I do.” Unfortunately, they had to reschedule their wedding for a few months down the road, but that didn’t stop them from enjoying their wedding weekend! These two were so fun, so joyful, so in love, that nothing could bring them down.

I almost couldn’t contain my excitement when Katy and Nick showed up at the Detroit Institute of Arts for their engagement session dressed to impress. Katy’s elegant gown (from Rent the Runway!) could not have been more perfect for our Downtown Detroit session. Their images turned out so classic and timeless, and I couldn’t be more in love with them. If you’re wondering whether or not to dress up for your engagement session, just take a look at HOW GOOD these two look! I would totally recommend it.

I’m already counting down the days to their new wedding date in August. It’s going to be epic — I already know it!
