2024 mini & midi sessions
If a full session isn't right for your family, I offer several dates for "midi" and "mini" sessions throughout the year.
Midi sessions are 40 minutes long and include all digital images. Mini sessions are 20 minutes long and include 20 digital images with the option to purchase more.

October 19: Kensington Metropark (Milford)
IN CASE OF RAIN DATE: Sunday, October 20th
These are 20 minute sessions showcasing glorious fall color at Kensington Metropark. Exact location within the park is TBD based on the color of the trees, but it will surely be beautiful!

NOvember 3: THE Glasshouse Studio (Howell)
These are 15 minute long sessions that are themed for Christmas. The photos shown are last year's set up and this year's mood board (they were provided by the studio and NOT my photos!) The space is covered, so sessions will happen rain or shine (and it will also be warm inside the glass house — a welcome treat in November!)
Mini sessions are great if you really just want a few posed photos (and a couple of candids!) and you prefer a quick and efficient photoshoot. Each session lasts for 15-20 minutes and includes 20 digital images. You'll receive the full gallery for viewing to select which 20 you want to download, and if you want to purchase the full gallery, you may do so for an additional $100.

July 27: Quarton Lake Park (Birmingham)
RAIN DATE: Sunday, July 28
This is a quiet gem nestled in a beautiful neighborhood. The park is essentially a trail along a small lake, and it has some awesome features that photograph beautifully. We'll start by the green boardwalk in the middle of the lake and walk up the trail for some more pretty views of the trees and water.

August 3: Maybury State Park (Northville)
RAIN DATE: Sunday, August 4
Maybury is a huge state park, and we'll be using the fields of tall grass for minis! I love the height and dimension of the grass and how it can make a photo look really ethereal. There are also mowed pathways, so we won't just be trudging through the fields the whole time.

APRIL 20: University of Michigan law Quadrangle (Ann Arbor)
RAIN DATE: Sunday, April 21
An absolutely beautiful mixture of gorgeous architecture and natural greenery, the Law Quad is one of my favorite spots. There are usually some beautiful blooming trees around this area in April, so we might get lucky with some blooms, too!

MAY 26 & June 2: peony garden at nichols arboretum (Ann Arbor)
RAIN DATES: May 27 & June 9
There are few spots more magical than the peony garden in the springtime! Peonies bloom in late May through early June, so the blooms will differ a bit depending on the date you choose, but there are sure to be plenty of flowers on both dates. This is one of my absolute FAVORITE locations!
Midi sessions are the perfect blend of a full session and mini session. Each session lasts 40 minutes, which gives us enough time to walk around for a bit of variety and for lots of candid photos in addition to the posed. You'll receive all of the best high-resolution digital images (at least 50) from your session in a beautiful online gallery.
