2026 mini & midi sessions
If a full session isn't right for your family, I offer several dates for "midi" and "mini" sessions throughout the year.
Midi sessions are 40 minutes long and include all digital images. Mini sessions are 20 minutes long and include 20 digital images with the option to purchase more.

June 27: LAw Quadrangle at university of michigan (Ann arbor)

The UofM Law Quadrangle reminds me a bit of Hogwarts with its stunning architecture. That, paired with lots of greenery in the summer, makes it one of my favorite locations. This spot looks very classy and would be a great choice if you're looking to dress up a little bit!

MAY 30: peony garden at nichols arboretum (Ann Arbor)
There are few spots more magical than the peony garden in the springtime! Peonies bloom in late May through early June, so the blooms will differ a bit depending on the season, but there are sure to be plenty of flowers. This is one of my absolute FAVORITE locations! The garden is open to the public and gets quite crowded during peak season, but I have lots of tricks to make it look like you're alone in the fields. These sessions sell out every year, so book early!
Midi sessions are the perfect blend of a full session and mini session. Each session lasts 40 minutes, which gives us enough time to walk around for a bit of variety and for lots of candid photos in addition to the posed. You'll receive all of the best high-resolution digital images (at least 75) from your session in a beautiful online gallery.

September 26: Terrace's Flower Farm (Milford)
This place is a cute little gem that many people don't know about! There are rows of different colorful flowers, as well as a little greenhouse and some fields. It's semi-private (booked out only to one or two photographers at a time), so you don't need to worry about crowds.

Mini sessions are great if you really just want a few posed photos (and a couple of candids!) and you prefer a quick and efficient photoshoot. Each session lasts for 20 minutes and includes 20 digital images. You'll receive the full gallery for viewing to select which 20 you want to download, and if you want to purchase the full gallery, you may do so for an additional $100.
*If you would like to change your "mini" session into a "midi" session, you may book two consecutive time slots to do so!
Mini Sessions
October 17: Quarton Lake Park in Birmingham
IN CASE OF RAIN BACKUP DATE: Sunday, August 2
This little park is a gem nestled among a Birmingham neighborhood. A gravel path runs along the lake with plenty of pretty spots to stop. The fall colors are always beautiful this time of year! This would be a great location to upgrade to a 40 minute "midi" session because the trail is so lovely.
August 1: WILDFLOWER FIELD AT KENSINGTON METROPARK (Milford)
FINGERS CROSSED this wildflower field will be here this season! I stumbled upon this field in early August last year, and it's SO pretty. The field is near the Farm Center (a short walk from the parking lot — bring comfortable shoes!) Even if the wildflowers aren't there, there are so many beautiful spots in this area and it will be gorgeous!

November 14: Westman's Christmas Tree Farm (Dexter)
I have been offering sessions at this farm for many years! They are very photography-friendly and make sure all lots are designated to one photographer and labeled clearly. These sessions are perfect for Christmas cards, but the background is timeless enough to display all year long. The weather may be cold and/or snowy, so bundle up!
