2025 mini & midi sessions

If a full session isn't right for your family, I offer several dates for "midi" and "mini" sessions throughout the year.

Midi sessions are 40 minutes long and include all digital images. Mini sessions are 20 minutes long and include 20 digital images with the option to purchase more.

See available dates (and each backup rain date) and locations below with example photos from each spot. Click "book now" to book your preferred date and time! *Please note that these sessions cannot be used for extended families. They are only meant for single household families.

APRIL 12: Detroit institute of arts

IN CASE OF RAIN BACKUP DATE: Sunday, April 13

The DIA is one of my most requested locations for a reason: it's elegant, classic, timeless, and neutral. As an added bonus, there are BEAUTIFUL magnolia trees out front that may just be in bloom on this date!

*Booking is not considered complete UNTIL a signed contract and non-refundable retainer fee is received. No dates are held until this is complete.

MAY 24: peony garden at nichols arboretum (Ann Arbor)

IN CASE OF RAIN BACKUP DATE: Sunday, May 25

There are few spots more magical than the peony garden in the springtime! Peonies bloom in late May through early June, so the blooms will differ a bit depending on the date you choose, but there are sure to be plenty of flowers on both dates. This is one of my absolute FAVORITE locations!

Midi sessions are the perfect blend of a full session and mini session. Each session lasts 40 minutes, which gives us enough time to walk around for a bit of variety and for lots of candid photos in addition to the posed. You'll receive all of the best high-resolution digital images (at least 75) from your session in a beautiful online gallery.

AUGUST 2: University of Michigan law Quadrangle (Ann Arbor)

IN CASE OF RAIN BACKUP DATE: Sunday, August 3

An absolutely beautiful mixture of gorgeous architecture and natural greenery, the Law Quad is one of my favorite spots. It reminds me a bit of Hogwarts, and what's not to love about that? Bonus: Students are off campus, so summer is the best time to visit!
