A sweet family session at Huron Meadows Metropark | Brighton, MI

I was so excited when Kaity contacted me about doing some family photos! We taught at the same school together, and her sweet son Henry is just a month older than our son Lucas. I absolutely love catching up with old friends and watching their families grow!

We decided to meet at Huron Meadows Metropark in Brighton for their session. I love Huron Meadows because of its fields of tall grass and and large boardwalk overlooking the lake. The sun sets over the water, and it’s absolutely perfect during golden hour!

The best part of their entire session was little Henry exclaiming, “Whoa, what’s that?!” over and over again. At only 14 months old, this blew my mind! I could not believe he had mastered such a cute little phrase already. It was absolutely adorable.

This sweet family made my job so easy. I just adore capturing parents loving on their babies — that’s all I really need to create a little photo magic 🙂
