Lauren, class of 2021 | A Rochester Municipal Park & Downtown Rochester senior session

Late October sessions are always a bit of a gamble, because you never know how much fall color will be left on the trees or how cold it will be! We got lucky for Lauren’s senior session in Rochester and caught the last of the stunning autumn color (it was pretty cold, but Lauren braved it like a champ!)

Rochester Municipal Park is one of my favorite spots for senior sessions because there is so much variety. There is a pretty creek that runs through the park, a big pond, tons of pretty pathways, bridges, flowers — you name it! I actually grew up in Rochester and have a lot of fond memories hanging out at this park when I was a teenager.

The second best part of a Rochester Park senior session? It’s walkable to downtown Rochester, which is super cute and allows seniors to have the best of both worlds: nature and urban. I can’t decide which setting I like better, so why not do both?
