An elegant and classic downtown wedding | Detroit, MI

Alyssa and Adam’s wedding will always go down as one of my favorites because their wedding day energy was off the charts. They share an effortless chemistry, and they are both incredibly kind, charismatic, friendly, and fun. To say the least, their wedding was a PARTY (Of course it was — the Dan Rafferty Band was incredible, and Sparty even showed up to surprise the MSU alums!)

Alyssa was the most classically elegant bride and chose to wear a large silk overskirt for the ceremony that she removed for the reception. They got married at one of my favorite churches in Detroit, the Sweetest Heart of Mary. Melissa with Melissa Novak Events planned their day perfectly. Every detail, from the invitations to the florals, contributed to an elegant and timeless event.
