A dreamy and sentimental engagement session | Cassopolis, MI

I didn’t expect a March engagement session to become one of my new favorites; in Michigan, March is famously still cold and all of the grass and leaves are still dead. However, Jordan and Tyler’s engagement session proved me wrong and turned out to be one of my dreamiest, most ethereal sessions to date!

Their session was extra special because it took place on their 30+ acres of property, where they plan to build their home and a barn for their horse (and other animal friends!). It was also the spot where Tyler proposed to Jordan! So when Jordan asked if I was willing to drive out to their property for their session, I said OF COURSE! Their property was the perfect setting for our photoshoot: with lots of tall grass and the perfect evening light, I was in photographer heaven.

I didn’t think it could get any better until we decided to take a drive out to the stables where Jordan’s horse, Preston, lives. Naturally, we needed to include him. We got there just as the sun was setting, and I got some of my all time favorite photos. It’s truly the stuff of fairytales!

Jordan and Tyler were so fun, funny, and kind throughout our whole session. They are truly the best kind of people to work with. I cannot WAIT for their wedding this June! I know it’s going to be amazing.
