An October family session at Kensington Metropark’s Farm Center | Milford, MI

You never really know how a family session with young babies and toddlers is going to go down… I always tell my families to go with the flow and rest assured that I’ll capture beautiful photos no matter what, even if their kiddos don’t cooperate. With two young boys, age two and two months, we were hoping for the best! Amanda texted me on the way to the session, “So anyway the toddler is yelling ‘no pictures’ in the car.” Ready for anything, I was prepared with my camera to make the best of it!

And man, did that little boy surprise us in the best way! Noah was an angel the whole session. He was laughing, running, playing, and smiling the whole time. Combine that with gorgeous October weather and the perfect light, and we had the recipe for an amazing photo session.

Amanda’s family is just the sweetest, and we discovered we had SO much in common during our shoot. I joked that we’re practically the same person!

I was smiling behind my camera the whole hour we were together. With every image I snapped, I knew this was going to be one of my favorites!
